    DIA Group joins the Horizon International Services alliance with Auchan Retail, Casino Group and Metro.

  • DIA Group appoints Antonio Coto as its new CEO 08/24/2018
    • The new CEO brings a wealth experience within DIA Group, since he has to date lead the company’s operations in strategic markets such as Brazil and Argentina.
    • The principal challenge facing Antonio Coto will be to lead the transformation process which DIA Group is undergoing; this will be enshrined in a new strategic plan, to be unveiled shortly.
    • DIA’s Management Board has expressed its sincere gratitude for the work carried out by Ricardo Currás, who has played a key role in the company’s success over recent years.

    In H1, DIA Group posted gross sales under banner of EUR4.6bn, up by 1.4%.

  • In Q1, DIA Group posted gross sales under banner of EUR2.27bn, up 0.2% 05/10/2018
    In the first quarter of 2018, DIA Group generated gross sales under banner of EUR2.27bn, up 0.2% in local currency compared to the first quarter of 2017. In Spain, like-for-like sales increased by 0.5%. As announced, DIA Group is continuing with its intensive store remodelling programme. In the first three months of the year, the company remodelled a total of 480 stores, of which 457 were in Spain. At this pace, the company is ahead of the announced remodelling plan.
  • The agreements regarding the negotiation of own brands and manufacturers’ brands between DIA Group and EROSKI Group have been finalized 04/12/2018
    DIA Group would like to inform you that after its first fiscal year, the agreement that led to the creation of Red Libra Trading Services, S.L. has expired. The corporate purpose of this company was to negotiate with suppliers of distributor brands for DIA Group and EROSKI Group, to maximize the quality-price relationship offered to the consumer.
  • DIA sells its operations in Shanghai to the Chinese group Suning 04/03/2018
    DIA informs that, on the date hereof, the Company has entered into an agreement with Nanjing Suning.Com Supermarket LTD, company part of the Chinese group Suning, in relation to the sale of 100% of the shares of the Chinese entities Shanghai Dia Retail CO., Ltd and DIA (Shanghai) Management Consulting Services CO. Ltd, transaction which, once completed, will imply the exit from the Chinese market by the DIA group.
