    In 2016, the DIA Group generated gross sales under banner of EUR10.55bn, implying a 10.2% increase compared to the previous year in local currency thanks to the business performance in all the markets in which it operates. In Iberia, gross sales under banner rose by 1.1% to EUR6.815bn, and the emerging-market segment (Argentina, Brazil, and China) posted sales of EUR3.736bn, representing a 26.3% upturn in local currency.

    In the first nine months of the year, the DIA Group generated gross sales under banner of EUR7.8bn, up 11% in local currency compared to the same period in the previous year. This increase is due to the good business momentum in all regions in which the company operates. In Iberia, gross sales rose by 2% to EUR5.103bn, while in emerging countries the increase was 27.2% in local currency, reaching EUR2.697bn

This is due to the ongoing improvement in the commercial offer at the company’s ten commercial banners in the countries in which it operates, and an ongoing investment in prices so that customers have access to the highest number of products at the best prices

    In the first quarter of the year, the DIA Group recorded gross sales under banner of EUR2.4bn, implying a 10.5% increase in local currency versus the same period in the previous year. This improvement was supported by the integration of the recent acquisitions, the positive performance of Iberia and the Emerging Markets, as well as client confidence.
  • 2015 Full Year Results 02/24/2016
    In 2015, DIA Group posted gross sales under banner of EUR10.547bn, up 14% versus 2014 in local currency thanks to the integration of the latest acquisitions and the company’s strong position in the various markets in which it operates in Iberia, gross sales under banner rose by 10.5% to EUR6.738bn, and in the emerging market segment (Argentina, Brazil and China) sales reached EUR3.808bn, up 20% in local currency.
