A new Executive Management team of DIA Spain has been created, headed up by Faustino Domínguez de la Torre. This new management team unifies the commercial and operational areas of all the banners. Faustino Domínguez de la Torre is part of the company’s Management Committee, and previously was Director for Spain of the DIA banner.

In addition, a Human Resources Executive Management team has been created at Group level, in this case headed up by Alejandro Grande, who will also be part of the DIA Group’s Management Committee. Alejandro Grande is the current Executive Director of DIA Argentina, and he will combine this role with that of Executive Director of Human Resources until the end of the handover period to his successor, who will be appointed at a later stage.

Lastly, a Corporate Secretariat has been created to unify the legal, security, and financial control areas. This Secretariat will be headed up by Miguel Ángel Iglesias, the current Legal and Compliance Director of the DIA Group. In addition to the Legal and Compliance area, the Corporate Secretary will also be responsible for the financial control, asset security, IT systems security, and insurance areas.
