The DIA Group is expanding its collaboration with Casino by the creation of a Madrid-based joint venture, CD Supply Innovation S.L., commencing operations this coming December 15. It will be international in scope, with Latin America excluded.
The new company will be responsible for some management of financial services and logistics, as well as payments and procurement.
CD Supply Innovation will create an innovation laboratory designed to optimize processes with providers and improve efficiency, making it possible to provide a better final product for the consumer.
The DIA Group and Casino began their collaboration in 2015.
