    In the first half of 2017, DIA Group posted gross sales under banner of EUR5.127bn, implying an increase of 4.1% in euros versus the same period in the previous year, and a 1.9% rise in local currency. Argentina and Brazil contributed with 12.1% growth in gross sales in local currency, reaching EUR1.885bn.

  • DIA Group and Eroski Group Agree on the Appointment of Susana Pagés de la Peña as General Director of Red Libra Trading Services SL 04/18/2017
    The DIA Group and the Eroski Group have appointed Susana Pagés de la Peña as General Director of the new company in charge of negotiating both DIA and EROSKI brands. She was previously acting as Commercial Director of the DIA brand. The General Director of Red Libra Trading Services S.L. will start on April 24. She will manage an initial team of 53 collaborators and she will be responsible for supplier negotiations at the new company. Susana Pagés de la Peña holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid and she completed the Management Development Program (PDD), a post-graduate program at IESE Business School. She has developed her professional career at DIA, where she has acquired over 25 years of experience in the areas of quality and brand management
  • DIA Group and EROSKI Group enter into an agreement to create a joint company to trade private labels 04/18/2017
    DIA Group and EROSKI Group have entered into an agreement to create Red Libra Trading Services S.L., a new company responsible for trading private labels with suppliers and the purchase of other materials and supplies they need in order to carry out their activity, on behalf of both companies in an effort to maximize the price-quality ratio for consumers.

    DIA will transform the image of its DIA Market stores with the aim of improving its customers’ shopping experience by offering them a wide range of services and a selection of products that are custom tailored to their daily shopping needs. This morning, the first four renovated DIA Market stores have already opened their doors, two of which are located in the Province of Madrid (Madrid Capital and Alcorcón) and another two of which are in Catalonia (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and Santa Coloma de Gramenet).
