Chief Executive Human Resources Officer

With a Law degree from the UNLZ in Buenos Aires, Alejandro Grande has worked in the distribution sector for more than 20 years. He began as a store manager for EKI, the Argentinian supermarket company, and then moved into sales management roles.

In 2007, he was appointed as the Human Resources Director of DIA Argentina, and his responsibilities grew over the years, leading him to head up the Franchises and Expansion Management team. In 2013, Alejandro was appointed Executive Director of DIA Argentina, a position he has held up to now.

Chief Financial Officer

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the Universidad de Sevilla (including an academic year at University College Dublin with an Erasmus grant). He is a member of the Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas (ROAC – Official Registry of Accounts Auditors) of the Ministry of the Treasury.

Enrique Weickert began his career in 1996 at Arthur Andersen, and in September 2005 he joined Fertiberia as Financial Director. In January 2010 he was appointed Financial Director of the OHL Group, where he remained almost until he joined DIA as Financial Directors in December 2018.

Executive Director of IT

Degree in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid and Executive Development Programme from IESE. He developed his professional career for more than 25 years as a consultant at Accenture, working for the commercial distribution sector in different Spanish and European retailers, leading transformation and digitalization projects. In 2001, he was appointed partner of the company and responsible for the retail sector in 2010. Since January 2019, he is part of the DIA team as Chief Informaction Officer.

Chief Operations Officer

Graduated in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Nurtingen, with a specialization in business management and automotive industry, Matthias Raimund is a great connoisseur of the international food retail sector. In 1993, he joined Lidl GmbH &Co, where he held different executive positions. In 2004, he was part of the German COMEX of Lidl for store operations. In 2009, he became COO for Lidl International and in March 2011 he was appointed CEO of Lidl for Germany, a position he held until 2015. From that date to the present he has been working as an independent consultant for international retailers.

Legal and Compliance Director 

With a Law degree from Universidad Complutense in Madrid and master in digital business by ISDI Madrid, Sagrario Fernández has been lawyer for more than 20 years. She began her career at Garrigues Abogados, Madrid office, later joining Indra as manager of the Company's corporate legal department. In 2001, she was appointed as Legal and HR Department Director of the telecommunications company Iberbanda, as well as secretary of the Board until 2005. For a decade, she was general counsel and secretary of the Board at Prosegur Compañía de Seguridad, later she held the charge of General Counsel of Codere and since 2019, she held the position of Legal and Compliance Director at DIA Group and Vice-secretary of the board of directors
