Mr. Karl-Heinz Holland

Chief Executive Officer

Holds a degree in Business from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. He is considered one of Western Europe’s leading retail experts. From 1991 and for the next 23 years, Mr. Karl-Heinz Holland’s professional career was tied to Lidl Stiftung & Co., where he rose to become CEO in 2008. He later led Lidl’s expansion across Europe, which was a milestone in the retail industry. With over 30 years' experience in the sector, Holland is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of food retailer X5 Retail Group and the Boards of Directors of, among others, European fashion outlets Takko Fashion and circular economy pioneer Der Gruene Punkt.

Mr. Dawid Jaschok

Chief Commercial Officer

Degree in Business Administration from the University of Management and Banking in Poznań. Specialized in the management and marketing field. He joined Lidl in 2000, since then Dawid has been Manager for Supply in Poland, member of the Supply Board in Czech Republic, Member of the International Board with responsibilities for Poland and Eastern Countries, Chairman of the Board of International Supply and finally Dawid was responsible for supply, sales and marketing for the whole group. In 2014, as an entrepreneur, he founded a furniture and home decoration retail brand in Germany and Poland at the same time he advised some of the biggest retailers in Europe in the food, nonfood, fashion and e-commerce business. In 2019, he joined DIA as Chief Commercial Officer for DIA Group.

Mr. Alejandro Grande

Chief Executive Human Resources Officer

With a Law degree from the UNLZ in Buenos Aires, Alejandro Grande has worked in the distribution sector for more than 20 years. He began as a store manager for EKI, the Argentinian supermarket company, and then moved into sales management roles.

In 2007, he was appointed as the Human Resources Director of DIA Argentina, and his responsibilities grew over the years, leading him to head up the Franchises and Expansion Management team. In 2013, Alejandro was appointed Executive Director of DIA Argentina, a position he has held up to now.

Mr. Enrique Weickert Molina

Chief Financial Officer

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the Universidad de Sevilla (including an academic year at University College Dublin with an Erasmus grant). He is a member of the Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas (ROAC – Official Registry of Accounts Auditors) of the Ministry of the Treasury.

Enrique Weickert began his career in 1996 at Arthur Andersen, and in September 2005 he joined Fertiberia as Financial Director. In January 2010 he was appointed Financial Director of the OHL Group, where he remained almost until he joined DIA as Financial Directors in December 2018.

Mr. Pedro Barsanti

Executive Director of IT

Degree in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid and Executive Development Programme from IESE. He developed his professional career for more than 25 years as a consultant at Accenture, working for the commercial distribution sector in different Spanish and European retailers, leading transformation and digitalization projects. In 2001, he was appointed partner of the company and responsible for the retail sector in 2010. Since January 2019, he is part of the DIA team as Chief Informaction Officer.

 

Mr. Matthias Raimund

Chief Operations Officer

Graduated in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Nurtingen, with a specialization in business management and automotive industry, Matthias Raimund is a great connoisseur of the international food retail sector. In 1993, he joined Lidl GmbH &Co, where he held different executive positions. In 2004, he was part of the German COMEX of Lidl for store operations. In 2009, he became COO for Lidl International and in March 2011 he was appointed CEO of Lidl for Germany, a position he held until 2015. From that date to the present he has been working as an independent consultant for international retailers.
